Not going to lie these are not the material I was expecting them to be. They kind of feel like the same material as those Nike pro shorts or like the same material of a flag if that makes sense the waistband is not very stretchy so if you know a tight waist band, make sure your tummy can go over the sides, then size up. For example, if I ate in these, I would get a good and I would need to be wearing a top that would fit over the waist line
